GH Engage in Sines, Portugal, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead technical project delivery for a data centre. The role involves reviewing tender documentation, selecting plant and materials, coordinating services, and overseeing the production of coordinated drawings.

You will design manage, coordinate with contractors, prepare method statements, deliver HVAC outputs, and manage installation through to handover, with emphasis on safety and compliance and costing changes.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential.
• Design management experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project.
• EU Passport/RTW in Portugal is Mandatory for the role.

• Design management of mechanical/electrical projects.
• Coordinate contractor work to ensure integrated services.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Deliver HVAC components meeting safety criteria.
• Sequence pipework installations with the project schedule.
• Oversee commercial validation from estimating to procurement.
• Support installation management to handover and commissioning.
• Document and cost changes; prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.
