Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Manager for EMEA NTE in Lisbon, Portugal. You will oversee on-site physical security across multiple sites, manage access control, CCTV, guard services, and incident reporting while ensuring ISO27001 and SOC1 SOC2 compliance.

You will lead security teams, coordinate with internal and external partners, travel 25-40%, and drive security metrics and audits to protect customer data and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• EU citizen due to support for European Sovereign Cloud product.
• 5–7 years of security operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role; familiarity with ISO 27001.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports.
• Analyze situations, make quick decisions and formulate action plans.
• Compile concise and accurate security reports.
• Create and manage key performance metrics.
• Work with security service providers and manage a third-party security vendor contract.
• Train others in security procedures.
• Travel is a business need and is typically in the range of 25-40%.
