Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced NTE Security Manager to oversee on-site security for multiple NTE Data Centers in the EMEA region, based in Lisbon, Portugal. You will manage access control, guard force, audits, and incident reporting while ensuring compliance with SOC1, SOC2, and ISO27001.

You will lead security operations, supervise staff and contractors, coordinate with internal and external partners, and travel as required.

Qualificações

• EU citizenship is required for this role.
• 5–7 years of security operations experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and related security standards.
• Experience with video surveillance systems and security procedures training.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class NTE Security Manager to manage the physical security at our EMEA NTE (Non-Traditional) Environment based in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will cover multiple sites over an area of responsibility throughout the EMEA region.

Selected individual will be responsible for managing the on-site operational physical security of our NTE Data Centers and will have a thorough knowledge of access control systems and process, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits and incident reporting.

You will also understand and maintain compliance requirements with international standards such as (SOC1, SOC2 and ISO27001).

You will also be responsible for the implementation of new processes and adherence to existing Amazon policy and procedure relating to security guarding, media security, CCTV monitoring and the protection of customer data.

You will possess exceptional people management skills and will build relationships with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the security and safety of Amazon. You will coordinate physical security (security services, access control and CCTV systems, site surveys), investigations, risk/threat assessments. You will supervise employees and contractors performing specific security objectives and monitor vendor performance.

As an NTE Security Manager in this space you will also be required to work with peers in other geographic regions and travel as required by Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

• As the successful candidate will support the European Sovereign Cloud product, this role requires the job holder to be a citizen of an EU member state.


• 5-7 years of security operations and at least 3 years in a leadership role Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001.


• Working knowledge of video surveillance equipment Experienced training others in security procedures In possession of a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Protection Officer (CPO) or similar


• Experience working in a high security environment


• Able to perform security risk assessments CPR/AED Certified


• CPP, PSP, PMP certifications preferred
