Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Portugal to lead data centre cooling infrastructure projects from initiation to close. You will oversee design, review, and construction supervision of chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, and liquid cooling solutions, coordinating vendors and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in project management within HVAC or industrial environments, excellent stakeholder management, and fluent Portuguese with advanced English.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure for data centre cooling infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the design, review and construction supervision of cooling systems, including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and liquid cooling solutions.
• Coordinate internal teams, specialist vendors and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to define requirements, ensure technical feasibility and maintain strong working relationships.
• Lead commissioning, performance validation and handover activities while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience, preferably within HVAC, construction, engineering or related industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and data centre cooling infrastructure.
• Experience with chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, CDUs, liquid cooling technologies and integrated thermal management systems.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects in fast-paced construction environments.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project reporting.
• Experience with commissioning, testing and operational handover activities is highly desirable.
• Languages: Portuguese (fluent); English (Advanced)

Location Sines, Portugal (site presence required).
