This senior leadership role blends product strategy, technical acumen and people management. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex data initiatives into products delivering measurable business value.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Data & AI product portfolio.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Own the complete product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch and post-launch optimisation.
• Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, milestones and delivery plans.
• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, data engineers and other technical teams to deliver innovative AI and data solutions.
• Translate customer and business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, customer needs and strategic objectives.
• Lead sprint planning, reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery within agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure AI models, data products and platforms meet requirements for quality, scalability, reliability and performance.
• Define and monitor KPIs and product performance metrics.
• Use data and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, risks and trade-offs across the product portfolio.
• Communicate product strategy and technical concepts effectively to senior stakeholders and diverse audiences.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, market developments and trends across AI, machine learning and data.

Overview of the role

We are working with an innovative technology organisation operating at the forefront of Data & Artificial Intelligence. They are looking to hire a Data & AI Product Management Lead to take ownership of their data and AI product portfolio and drive the development of innovative, scalable technology solutions.

This is a senior product leadership position combining product strategy, technical understanding, stakeholder management and people leadership. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, technical teams and business stakeholders to translate complex technology into products that deliver measurable business and customer value.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Data, AI/ML and Product Management, together with the leadership skills required to build high-performing teams and successfully take products from concept through to delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

Essential

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Ownership or a similar technology-focused role.
• Previous experience in Data, AI, Machine Learning or analytics-driven products.
• Proven experience leading teams or providing product leadership.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, data analytics, data engineering and big data technologies.
• Good understanding of AI/ML frameworks and technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps, backlogs, priorities and delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and actionable plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic technology environment.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to engage effectively with engineering and data teams.

Highly Preferred

• Experience managing a portfolio of AI or data products rather than a single product.
• Experience building and leading high-performing Product Management teams.
• Experience working closely with Data Science, Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams.
• Experience presenting product strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience taking AI/ML products from concept through to commercial deployment.
