About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a Payment and Cash Management Operations team within an international banking environment.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science play an increasingly important role in improving business processes, customer experience, operational efficiency, and control mechanisms. In this position, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and support the industrialisation and automation of analytical models and operational processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who combines strong analytical expertise with knowledge of Alteryx, SQL, Python or R, data visualisation, and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Clean, validate, transform, and process structured datasets.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations that communicate findings clearly.
• Translate complex analyses into practical and actionable business insights.
• Support strategic and operational decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
• Use Alteryx for data preparation, blending, analysis, workflow automation, and process industrialisation.
• Develop and maintain repeatable analytical workflows.
• Contribute to the automation and optimisation of operational processes and controls.
• Support initiatives involving Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

• Strong statistical and analytical skills.

• Practical experience with Alteryx for data preparation, blending, analysis, and automation.
• Proficiency in at least one data-analysis technology, such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or an equivalent data-visualisation tool.
• Understanding of global banking operations and cash-payment processes.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify relevant business insights.
• Ability to communicate analytical conclusions clearly to different departments.
• Expert-level English.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Data Analyst with strong analytical capabilities and practical experience using Alteryx to prepare, combine, analyse, and automate data workflows.

You can explore complex datasets, identify meaningful trends, and convert your conclusions into clear business recommendations. You are comfortable developing dashboards and presenting analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You also understand the importance of accuracy, controls, customer experience, and operational efficiency within banking. Previous exposure to payments, Cash Management, Artificial Intelligence, or analytical-model industrialisation will be particularly valuable.
