Ignite in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Content Moderator who speaks Czech to join our diverse team on-site. You will review user-generated content, enforce guidelines, and help maintain safe digital spaces for a global community.

No prior moderation experience is required — we provide extensive paid training. Fluency in Czech and English, EU work rights, and willingness to work full-time on-site in Lisbon are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Evaluation: Review user-generated media (text, graphics, video, and audio assets) in Czech and English in accordance with platform guidelines.
• Platform Protection: Identify and address policy breaches, including hate speech, scams, misinformation, sensitive material, and copyright violations.
• Pattern Monitoring: Track emerging platform trends, recurring policy breaches, and critical issues to elevate to management.
• Quality & Accuracy: Apply sound, objective judgment quickly while reaching operational throughput and accuracy standards.
• Policy Compliance: Stay up-to-date with evolving platform rules, safety procedures, and regional nuances.

Candidate Requirements

• Essential Criteria:
  • Czech Proficiency: Fluent / C1-level command (fluent status required, native status not needed).
  • English Proficiency: Minimum B2 level for internal platforms, team interaction, and training.
  • Work Rights: EU/EEA citizenship or valid legal authorization to work in Portugal.
  • Work Arrangement: Willingness to work full-time on-site in Lisbon.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in client support, content moderation, quality assurance, or online community management.
  • Strong grasp of social media channels and digital culture.
  • Solid emotional resilience and the ability to process sensitive material objectively.
  • Flexibility to work shift schedules, including potential weekend or night shifts.
