Job summary

Thales Group in Lisbon is seeking a Sales Director to lead and develop the cybersecurity services business in Portugal. You will define and execute the commercial strategy, lead the sales team, and drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth in the Portuguese market.

The role requires 8–10 years of cybersecurity sales experience, 3–5 years leading teams, strong knowledge of the Portuguese market, and fluent English.

We are looking for a Sales Director to lead and develop the cybersecurity services business in Portugal.

The role will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy, leading the sales team, and achieving sustainable revenue and profitability growth in the Portuguese market.

The company is a global organization with a strong local presence in Portugal, featuring a complete business structure that includes Sales, Operations, Engineering, and all support functions.

The service portfolio includes consulting, auditing, monitoring, incident response, and cybersecurity technology integration services. Services are delivered by the local organization, supported by and fully integrated into the company’s global network

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Portuguese market
• Lead, develop, and motivate the sales team towards high performance
• Achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
• Develop strategic relationships with clients and partners
• Manage the sales pipeline and sales forecasting
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Presales, and Delivery teams
• Collaborate closely with Thales and different BLs, and Sales teams in other countries to identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities at both local and multinational levels
• Understand the market, competition, and identify new business opportunities
• Represent the company at C-level and institutional levels within the market

Requirements

• More than 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity sales
• At least 3–5 years of experience leading sales teams with proven success metrics
• Strong knowledge of the Portuguese market
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Native or bilingual Portuguese
• Fluent English
