Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa is seeking a Cyber Security Governance Specialist to strengthen governance, risk management and compliance practices in Ovar, Portugal. You will maintain risk registers, support risk assessments and ensure alignment with security frameworks.

The role requires English proficiency, analytical problem-solving and willingness to travel, with opportunities to influence governance across IT and business environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, information security, IT and BIS.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cyber risk registers and support risk assessments.
• Track risk treatment actions and owners, and monitor closure of mitigations.
• Coordinate cybersecurity exception documentation and approvals.
• Monitor threat information and its integration into risk management.
• Support vulnerability management governance and remediation tracking.
• Assist with audits, policy maintenance and KPI reporting.

About the Role

We are currently looking for candidates for the position of Cyber Security Governance Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and information security frameworks. The candidate will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the organization's cybersecurity governance practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Maintain cyber risk registers.
• Support risk assessments and risk reviews.
• Track risk treatment actions and owners.
• Coordinate cybersecurity exception documentation and approvals.
• Monitor closure of risk mitigation activities.
• Monitor and distribute relevant cybersecurity threat information.
• Support assessment of potential impact to Yazaki environments.
• Track threat-related actions and follow-up activities.
• Assist in integrating threat information into risk management activities.

Vulnerability Management Governance

• Coordinate vulnerability management activities across IT teams.
• Track remediation progress and overdue vulnerabilities.
• Maintain vulnerability management dashboards and KPIs.
• Support prioritization efforts based on risk and business impact.
• Prepare regular management reports on remediation status.

Governance, Compliance and Audits

• Support maintenance of cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Assist with TISAX, customer and internal audit activities.
• Track audit findings and corrective actions.
• Support evidence collection and reporting activities.

Security Reporting and Metrics

• Prepare cybersecurity governance reports.
• Support KPI definition and monitoring.
• Provide metrics to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science and Business Information Systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability to travel
