Winthrop Technologies in Sines, Portugal, is seeking a CSA Supervisor to lead coordination of Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages on Europe’s largest data centre project. You will supervise site safety, QA, and the project schedule while liaising with planners, subcontractors, and engineers.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, at least 5 years in CSA supervision, and strong drawing interpretation, communication and problem-solving skills.

We have an opportunity for a CSA Supervisor on a major data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

The successful candidate will supervisor the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages.

You will have a demonstrated experience in supervising works packages including civils, fit out, roofing and cladding. There will also be an expectation to manage site safety and ensure quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) work packages.
• Lead the management of site safety in conjunction with safety personnel, including set-up, ongoing monitoring, and close-out.
• Oversee site quality assurance (QA) processes in conjunction with the project team.
• Manage the project schedule in coordination with Planners, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Consulting Engineers/Architects to ensure client requirements are met.
• Take responsibility for all day-to‑day site operations.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower requirements; conduct regular subcontractor meetings.
• Oversee and maintain site documentation in line with project and client requirements.
• Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning meetings, co-ordination meetings, and handover meetings.
• Support the close‑out of project deliverables, including Final Account, Punch List, Safety & QA files, material/plant reallocation, and project plan completion.
• Ensure all aspects of change management (cost and programme impact) are properly managed and documented.
• Review construction drawings and setting‑out details for accuracy and buildability.
• Carry out, distribute, and close out CSA snag lists.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.

• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate CSA teams on‑site.
• Strong communication, organisational, numeracy, and problem‑solving skills.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a CSA supervisory role.
• Experience delivering large‑scale CSA packages on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
