Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to oversee Civil, Structural and Architectural elements on a large-scale data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

The role focuses on quality, safety, and programme adherence, coordinating with subcontractors, QA and design teams to ensure works meet drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering with 3+ years on major projects, strong QA/QC knowledge, and proven

Qualificações

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and Health & Safety compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works to programme.
• Competent in reading, reviewing, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in IT, with experience using construction management platforms for snagging, documentation, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Checking works carried out and ensure quality control is maintained.
• Work as part of the Quality team to ensure finished works meet standards, coordinating with QA managers for timely documentation by contractors.
• Liaise with sub-contractors on tracking progress against schedule and carry out sub-contractor meetings.
• Manage site documentation.
• Attend and actively participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Handover Meetings.
• Review drawings with design team and solve issues effectively.
• Monitor and snag contractors' works to ensure conformance to drawings and specs; raise snag lists and follow up.
