Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer for a large-scale data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

You will oversee Civil, Structural and Architectural elements, ensuring quality, safety and programme adherence while coordinating with subcontractors, QA teams and design engineers. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination, and the ability to drive documentation and meetings to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and Health & Safety compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works to programme.
• Experience reading, reviewing, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check works and ensure quality control is maintained throughout.
• Coordinate with QA managers to ensure documentation is submitted on time by contractors.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to track progress against schedule and conduct meetings.
• Manage site documentation and participate in site meetings and reviews.
• Review drawings with design team and resolve issues; monitor snagging and ensure zero defects per approved QMS.
