act digital is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to define cryptographic and data protection standards across the organization and support teams in secure-by-design solutions.

You will assess risks, guide data protection strategies, and act as a security advisor across projects, promoting security awareness and crypto-governance within the enterprise.

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will:

• Define and promote cryptographic and data protection standards across the organization.
• Support business and technology teams in implementing secure-by-design solutions.
• Assess security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Guide projects on the best approaches for data protection, encryption, anonymization, and masking.
• Contribute to the evolution of the organization's cryptographic landscape and crypto-agility strategy.
• Act as a cybersecurity ambassador, sharing knowledge and promoting security awareness across the enterprise.

Cryptography & Data Protection

• Define security requirements, policies, and standards related to cryptography and data protection.
• Provide guidance on encryption mechanisms, key management, anonymization, pseudonymization, and data masking techniques.
• Assess the robustness of cryptographic architectures, security controls, and data protection mechanisms.
• Contribute to the organization's cryptographic governance and crypto-agility initiatives.
• Help define and maintain inventories of cryptographic assets across the enterprise.

Security Risk Management

• Analyze and evaluate cybersecurity risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Assess business and technical impacts associated with security risks.
• Prepare or validate risk assessments and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
• Support projects and stakeholders in implementing security controls and remediation plans.
• Anticipate emerging risks and ensure security requirements remain aligned with industry best practices.

Security Advisory & Project Support

• Support business units and subsidiaries in integrating security requirements into their projects.
• Provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles, ensuring security and compliance objectives are met.
• Participate in technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and security solution evaluations.
• Act as a trusted advisor for data protection and cryptographic architecture decisions.

Innovation & Security Community

• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct technology watch activities and share relevant insights with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of the cybersecurity community across the organization.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in security practices.

What We're Looking For

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience in Cybersecurity, with a focus on:Cryptography
• Data Protection
• Security Architecture
• Experience defining security requirements and security governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of encryption methods, key management, and data protection technologies.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and defining mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
