Genpact in Lisbon is inviting applications for the role of Insurance Credit Controller - Senior Process Associate – English.

The role requires data accuracy, issue resolution, and timely handling of premiums, deposits, discounts, and overdue items within a hybrid Lisbon setup. You will support brokers and internal teams, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.

Qualificações

• Graduate or possess a professional qualification in a finance-related discipline.
• English C1 is required.
• Minimum years of experience in credit control.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data analysis and decisions.
• Desirable background in insurance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Enter data accurately and efficiently, with quality checks on cash receipts.
• Handle premium collections, deposits, direct debits, commission payments, discounts and overpayments.
• Reconcile client and broker accounts, disburse cash and recover overdue debts.
• Maintain service standards and KPIs, liaise with internal/external parties to resolve queries.
• Distribute monthly statements and address questions promptly.

Inviting applications for the role of Insurance Credit Controller - Senior Process Associate – English - Hybrid Lisbon!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00 or 9:00-18:00

Model: Hybrid - central Lisbon

Responsibilities:

• Enter data accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality checks on cash receipts, support data cleansing and mass change processing projects.
• Handle premium collections, check deposits, direct debits, commission payments, discounts, and overpayments.
• Reconcile client and broker account differences, disburse cash, recover overdue debts, and manage brokers and partners based on contract nature or intermediaries.
• Deliver exceptional service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve queries within deadlines.
• Distribute monthly statements of overdue accounts to clients and resolve questions promptly.
• Input regulations into the computer system, manage unpaid items, oversee procedures, and clear outstanding financial movements.
• Analyze aging reports and allocated portfolios.
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge and expertise, contributing to best practices and procedural support.
• Provide support, mentoring, and guidance as needed.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Graduate or possess a professional qualification in a finance-related discipline.
• Background in insurance is prefered
• English C1 - a must!
• Minimum years of experience in credit control.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for complex data analysis and effective decision-making in business or technical issues.
