A Volkswagen Financial Services Portugal procura um Especialista em Controlo e Reporting para apoiar a equipa de Finanças em planeamento, reporte, faturação e melhoria de processos. O papel envolve monitorizar orçamento, forecasts, análises e suporte a mercados internacionais, com foco em automação e dashboards.

Deverá ter experiência em Controlo/Finanças, forte Excel, conhecimento de SAP ou ERP similar e capacidade de comunicar com stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Experiência em Controlo/Finanças, Reporting, Budgeting ou funções similares.
• Conhecimento de SAP ou ERP equivalente.
• Excel avançado e capacidade de lidar com ficheiros financeiros complexos.
• Inglês competente; alemão é um plus.

Responsabilidades

• Forecast, Budget e Planning para mercados internacionais; preparar templates e apoiar apresentações.
• Encerramento mensal, reporting financeiro e análise de desvios; reconciliações SAP/forecast.
• Invoicing, pagamentos e suporte aos mercados; monitorizar questões com fornecedores.
• Monitorização de orçamentos, PO e centros de custo; manter dashboards e documentação em Confluence.
• Automação, digitalização e melhoria de processos com Python, Power Apps e SharePoint.

What do we do? Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) Porto is a nearshore hub that supports European markets by delivering stable, compliant, and high-quality services across contract management and adjacent systems, integrations, data, and large-scale projects. You will be part of the Finance team in Porto, working day-to-day with our Headquarters to align on approvals, processes, and reporting—enabling efficient vendor management, invoice verification, and procurement governance across our operations.

Objectives: The Controlling & Reporting Specialist will support the Finance & Controlling team in planning, forecasting, reporting, invoicing and process improvement activities. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial data, reliable reporting, efficient budget monitoring and strong operational support to internal stakeholders and international markets. This position combines core controlling responsibilities with a strong focus on automation, dashboarding, process digitalization and continuous improvement.

In this role you will be responsible for: Forecast, Budget and Planning Round Activities Prepare and support Forecast activities for international markets. Support Planning Round and annual Budget preparation and submission to HQ. Prepare Forecast, Budget and PR templates, assumptions and supporting files. Support the preparation of presentations and reporting data. Ensure alignment of critical Forecast, PR and budget activities within the team and with relevant stakeholders. Support the allocation of Budget in SAP and preparation of related files.

Month-End Closing, Reporting and Financial Analysis: Support month-end closing activities, including accrual review and finance report preparation. Prepare and review month-end reports. Analyse deviations between Budget, Forecast and Actuals. Perform reconciliations between SAP, Forecast and reporting files. Validate accruals and reversals. Prepare financial analysis and ad-hoc reports requested by HQ, internal stakeholders or markets. Align with accounting team on several topics.

Invoicing, Payments and Market Support Support quarterly invoicing processes, including rollforward of files, preparation of attachments, PDF consolidation and submission to markets. Prepare and send CMIS files on a monthly or quarterly basis. Follow up on pending invoices, credit notes and payment topics with suppliers and customers. Validate and monitor critical payments. Support markets in invoicing, reporting and Forecast-related questions. Handle payment-related incidents and ensure timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.

Budget, PO and Cost Centre Monitoring Monitor PO consumption, budget usage and cost centre-related requests. Update and maintain dashboards related to PO analysis and budget control. Support FTE mapping before invoicing periods. Maintain and update cost centres and assignments documentation in Confluence. Respond to requests related to cost centre consumption, travel consumption and budget usage.

Automation, Digitalization and Process Improvement Drive and support process improvement, automation and digitalization initiatives across Controlling activities. Develop and maintain tools using Python, Power Apps and SharePoint. Create and maintain dashboards to support invoice status tracking, PO monitoring, reporting and decision-making. Monitor automations and resolve related incidents. Contribute to new ways of working, standardized templates and improved internal processes.

We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be: Previous experience in Controlling, Finance, Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Planning or similar roles. Familiarity with time-tracking tools and experience in service provider company is a plus. Experience in international or shared services environments is a plus. Strong Excel skills and ability to work with complex financial files. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal);
German is a plus. Ability to interact professionally with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. Proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation. Structured and organized way of working. Problem-solving attitude and ability to manage incidents independently.
