Work in USA in Braga, Portugal, seeks an experienced IT Manager on a contract basis to oversee the IT department's day-to-day operations and lead a team of IT professionals. The role requires strong management, leadership, and communication skills to deliver secure, efficient technology services.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT management, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master's preferred), and experience with networking, security, databases, OS, and cloud computing, plus vendor

Responsabilidades

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and other technology services.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to improve processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT management
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of networking security databases operating systems and cloud computing
• Experience with project management tools

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Information Technology or related field
• Previous experience working in a contract position
• Knowledge of Portuguese language
