Work in USA in Braga, Portugal, seeks an experienced IT Manager on a contract basis to oversee the IT department's day-to-day operations and lead a team of IT professionals. The role requires strong management, leadership, and communication skills to deliver secure, efficient technology services.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT management, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master's preferred), and experience with networking, security, databases, OS, and cloud computing, plus vendor

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in IT management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, databases, operating systems, and cloud computing.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the daily operations of the IT department including managing a team of IT professionals.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of the companys systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and other technology services.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to improve processes.
