CTS Group seeks a Construction Quality Control Technician for an on-site role in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. You will work with Site Management to ensure materials, equipment and activities meet approved designs, specs and contractual requirements.

The position emphasizes on-site inspection, adherence to ITPs and quality systems, with opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, international team.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Support Site Management in implementing and monitoring quality processes.
• Assist with selection, inspection and control of materials/equipment.
• Verify materials/equipment meet designs, specs, and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction activities and on-site quality controls.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs, standards and legislation.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Management System documentation.
• Maintain quality procedures, records, and project documentation.
• Record, follow up and close non-conformities; support CAPA actions.

We are rapidly expanding into other markets globally. In addition to D&B, we develop and produce digital systems tailored for the Data Center industry and standardized self-contained units.

We're looking for a Construction Quality Control Technician to join our project team in Viana do Castelo.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a construction or engineering professional who is passionate about quality, compliance and getting things right on site.

Working closely with Site Management and operational teams, you'll help ensure that materials, equipment and construction activities meet approved designs, contractual specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), applicable legislation and project quality requirements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting Site Management in the implementation and monitoring of quality processes
• Assisting with the selection, inspection and control of construction materials and equipment
• Verifying that materials and equipment comply with approved designs, specifications and contractual requirements
• Monitoring construction activities and operational quality controls
• Ensuring compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Verifying compliance with construction standards, legislation and contractual specifications
• Supporting the preparation and implementation of Quality Management System documentation
• Maintaining and controlling quality procedures, records and project documentation
• Collecting, monitoring and reporting quality performance indicatorsConducting and supporting quality inspections
• Recording and following up on non-conformities
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Participating in quality training, information and awareness activities for site personnel
• Preparing quality reports and providing relevant information to Project Management
• Identifying opportunities and proposing actions for continuous improvement of the Quality Management System

Your Technical And Professional Background

• Degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, Construction or a related discipline
• Previous experience in quality control within construction or engineering projects
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and construction quality requirements
• Experience with Inspection and Test Plans, inspections, non-conformities and corrective actions
• Good understanding of construction standards, specifications and technical requirements
• Strong documentation and analytical skills
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with operational and site teams
• Advanced English — mandatory
• Availability to work on-site in Viana do Castelo, Portugal
