Yazaki Corporation seeks a Complexity Development Engineer to join the Porto Technical Centre in Portugal. You will lead complexity management for vehicle wire harnesses and EDS components, ensuring BoM accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with vehicle configurations.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering changes, releases, and documentation across prototype to production builds, and collaborating with OEMs, CSC and manufacturing plants to resolve data and configuration issues.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical.
• MS Office, especially Excel (advanced level).
• 2D Design Tools (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PDCA and 8D methodology.
• Understanding of automotive engineering standards and product change management processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage product release and complexity activities across the vehicle development lifecycle, ensuring BoM validation and data integrity.
• Coordinate BoM, usage and configuration validation to align features with requirements.
• Lead complexity management for wire harnesses and EDS components across configurations.
• Coordinate engineering changes, release documents and updates through internal systems for prototypes to production builds.
• Analyze and resolve product data and configuration issues with cross-functional teams.
