ConFlip in Funchal, Portugal seeks a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care for an elderly client at home. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and medication reminders while offering companionship and ensuring a safe living environment.

This full-time live-in role includes accommodation, requires weekend availability, and includes training to build the necessary caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Compassionate and patient by nature.
• Ability to communicate in English or Portuguese.
• Physically fit and able to assist with mobility.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays; flexible shifts.
• Willing to undergo a background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Administer medication reminders as prescribed.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Accompany the client to appointments or outings when necessary.
