SteelAxis in Porto, Portugal is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide daily support for an elderly or disabled client. This full-time role includes accommodation and visa sponsorship if needed, offering stability for a dedicated caregiver.

You will assist with personal care, coordinate medical appointments, prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, provide companionship, and monitor health, reporting changes to supervisors as required.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Valid work permit or visa sponsorship for Portugal if non-European.
• Physical ability to lift and transfer clients if necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy towards others.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications and assist with medical appointments.
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying up.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
• Monitor health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate parties.
