A leading engineering services company in Lisbon is seeking a Commissioning Lead to oversee commissioning tasks for electrical and mechanical vendors. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a similar construction role, specifically in LV/MV or HV systems. You will ensure compliance with work scopes and deadlines, offering a competitive salary and collaborative team environment within a growing sector. A background in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certifications is essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning.
• Construction experience with safety knowledge.
• Electrical Testing & Verification with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Construction experience with safety-focused practices.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise commissioning related tasks for electrical and mechanical vendors.
• Ensure compliance with work scope and monitor delivery.
• Conduct daily onsite commissioning operations.
• Communication of deadlines and Cx programme milestones.
• Supervision and reporting on C Programme and deadline progress.
• Supervision of and possible attendance for Electrical Vendor FAT's and FWT's.
• Organise/ Attend and provide input to Daily/Weekly Cx meetings, Internally and vendors.
• Form and update weekly Cx Vendor progress reports for onward submission to Cx management.
• Coordinate with Project QAQC Dept to achieve common objectives.
• Coordination with Project AP Dept to achieve common objectives.
• Track and obtain approval on relevant project documents.
• Witnessing of all vendor activities against approved project documentation.
• Conducting Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
• Conducting of all day to day on site commissioning operations

Our client is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

They are seeking a Commissioning Lead to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will work with a team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Supervisors, as they carry out Commissioning Works and ensure the project programme is kept.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

• Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience e.g. NVQ
• Minimum of 7 Years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable.
• Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning experience.
• Electrical Testing & Verification with a minimum 3 years' experience.
• Construction experience / understanding required with safety experience.
• Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
• Process driven candidate and focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is desirable
