Job summary

Dstny is seeking a Senior Operations Security Engineer to unify security across cloud platforms, production infrastructure and customer products. You will own security controls, incident response, and vulnerability management while enabling rapid, secure delivery.

You will work with Azure/AWS environments, Kubernetes, containers and Linux, and apply IaC/CICD practices to embed security early in development. A pragmatic, risk-based approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, operations and incident response.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash or Go and experience with Terraform/IaC.
• Experience with SIEM, monitoring, observability and vulnerability management.
• Pragmatic, security-first mindset with ability to drive risk-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate security controls across Azure/AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Strengthen security across OS, containers, APIs, IAM and network security.
• Lead investigations and remediation of security incidents.
• Own vulnerability management and remediation prioritised by risk.
• Build and improve security monitoring, detection and alerting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Development and Architecture teams to embed security early in design and development.
