Salve.Lab is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cloud-native backend team responsible for scalable microservices and distributed systems. This role blends people management with deep software engineering, guiding architecture, reviews, and hands‑on support when necessary in a fully remote EU setting.

You will mentor engineers, shape delivery, collaborate with Product Owners, and uphold engineering standards, CI/CD, observability, and security across the team.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in software engineering.
• 3+ years leading software teams.
• Hands-on experience with backend architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers.
• Own team delivery, performance, and quality.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Recruit, onboard and retain engineering talent.
• Define priorities with Product Owners and translate requirements into engineering outcomes.
• Involve in system design and architectural decisions.
• Guide development of scalable microservices and distributed backend systems.
• Review proposals and support complex technical issues.
