Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a deeply hands-on Senior Java Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple backend services. You will design, build and ship production code in a cloud-native environment, with Java as the primary language and Python where needed.

You will work across several microservices, mentoring engineers and shaping architectural decisions. The role offers fully remote work within the European Union on a long-term B2B contract, with opportunities to influence

Qualificações

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
• Production Python code experience.
• Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
• Ability to influence architecture and guide technical decisions.
• Strong code review and mentorship skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and product stakeholders.
• English at C1+ level.
• EU resident or eligible to work under EU rules

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Java.
• Contribute to Python services as needed.
• Guide technical implementation across multiple interconnected microservices.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on requirements and delivery approaches.
• Develop and operate cloud-native services on AWS.
• Deploy and run containerised apps using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD, deployment, scalability and reliability.
• Utilise data and analytics to inform technical decisions.
• Support testing, documentation and continuous improvement across the SDLC.
• Contribute to AI-assisted tooling adoption where appropriate.
