Job summary

Jobbex IT is seeking an Infrastructure as Code Engineer to join our client team in Portugal. You will design, build, and maintain scalable IaC modules for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Automate provisioning through GitOps, implement security and compliance controls, manage the infrastructure lifecycle, and mentor engineers while defining standards and tests for IaC. Ideal candidates have Terraform or Crossplane experience with Azure and GCP, knowledge of policy-as-code, IAM/RBAC, and

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Terraform or Crossplane, Azure and GCP.
• Experience with reusable IaC modules, state management, GitOps and infrastructure CI/CD.
• Knowledge of infrastructure testing, policy-as-code, security, secrets management, networking and IAM/RBAC.
• Familiarity with observability, compliance automation, high availability, disaster recovery and FinOps.
• Technical leadership, clear documentation and ability to drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable IaC modules for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Automate provisioning through GitOps, self-service workflows, and security and compliance controls.
• Manage the infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring availability, recovery, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Define IaC standards and tests, review code, solve complex problems, and mentor engineers.
• Use approved AI tools with careful validation of generated code, permissions, and risks.
