Job summary

Jobbex IT is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our client and help shape scalable cloud platforms across GCP, Azure, and AWS. You will deploy and manage cloud environments with Terraform and Ansible, ensuring governance and cost efficiency.

We value hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IaC, and modern deployment practices, plus Git proficiency. The role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience with one or more major cloud providers.
• One or more cloud certifications.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks.
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid understanding of modern deployment methodologies in cloud environments.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud solutions using Terraform and IaC, focusing on GCP, Azure, and AWS.

• Deploy and manage cloud solutions using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), following Cloud Centre of Excellence best practices across GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS, with a primary focus on GCP.
• Maintain and improve cloud governance, promoting efficient cloud adoption while implementing policies and controls to prevent misuse.
• Assess existing cloud infrastructures, identify optimization opportunities using the 5 R's of cloud migration, and support improvements in line with FinOps best practices.

You'll be a great match if you have:
