Job summary

Jobbex IT is seeking a Platform Automation Engineer to join one of our clients in Porto, Portugal. You will design and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Crossplane, building secure and scalable platform patterns and collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, and AWS, strong IaC skills, and GitOps familiarity. English communication is essential, and certifications like Terraform Associate and Azure Fundamentals are

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Platform Engineering and 3+ years with relevant technologies.
• Hands-on experience with GCP; Azure and AWS are plus.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, scripting, CI/CD, and cloud operations.
• Terraform Associate (or higher) and Azure Fundamentals certifications.
• Crossplane and GitOps experience is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Crossplane.
• Build reliable, secure, and compliant platform patterns.
