Consort Group is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to lead cloud strategy, architecture and governance. You will align cloud initiatives with enterprise standards, security, regulatory requirements and business objectives while guiding DevOps, cloud native patterns and IaC practices.

Responsibilities span building and running cloud portfolios, defining architecture guardrails, and mentoring teams across Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.

Qualificações

Minimum 5 years designing, migrating and operating production workloads on major Cloud platforms.
Strong background in Enterprise or Systems Architecture.
Experience in complex, international environments at the intersection of technology, governance and business.
Ability to translate complex tech challenges into pragmatic solutions and improve standards.

Responsabilidades

Execute the Cloud portfolio roadmap aligned with business objectives and data controls.
Define and promote cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, patterns and reusable frameworks.
Advise development teams on Cloud Native architectures, microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD and IaC.
Establish guardrails for security, compliance, data residency, cost management and Secure SDLC practices.
Support assessment of emerging technologies via PoCs and evaluations.
Guide teams in using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
Contribute to cloud migration strategies and assess architectural risks.
Govern the portfolio of hosted cloud apps, monitor architecture maturity, risks and compliance.
Perform architecture reviews, gap analyses, SWOT analyses and TCO assessments.
Ensure alignment with EA, security and risk management frameworks.
Monitor CSPM, SCA, SAST, DAST adherence across initiatives.
Provide guidance to senior stakeholders and participate in governance forums.

Cloud Enterprise Architect

This is your mission

Are you passionate about Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and technology strategy? Then this position is for you.

As a Cloud Enterprise Architect, you will provide strategic oversight of cloud-based solutions, ensuring that technology initiatives align with enterprise architecture standards, security and regulatory requirements, risk management policies, and long‑term business objectives.

Build side:

Execute the Cloud portfolio roadmap in alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and data sovereignty constraints.
Define and promote cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, design patterns and reusable frameworks.
Advise development teams on Cloud Native architectures, microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Establish architectural guardrails covering cloud security, compliance, data residency, cost management and Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
Support the assessment and validation of emerging technologies through Proofs of Concept and technology evaluations.
Guide teams in the adoption of technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
Contribute to cloud migration strategies and assess the architectural maturity and risks of applications.

Run side:

Govern the portfolio of internally and externally hosted cloud applications, monitoring architecture, maturity, risks and compliance.
Perform architecture reviews, gap analysis, SWOT analysis and Total Cost of Ownership assessments.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and risk management frameworks.
Monitor compliance with cloud governance standards, including SCA, SAST, DAST and CSPM requirements.
Track risks, recommendations and remediation actions across cloud initiatives.
Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to senior technology and business stakeholders.
Contribute to cross-functional governance forums and technology committees.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience designing, migrating and operating production workloads on major Cloud platforms and a strong background in Enterprise or Systems Architecture.

You have worked in complex, international environments and are comfortable operating at the intersection of technology strategy, architecture, governance, security and business needs.

You enjoy translating complex technical challenges into pragmatic solutions and are constantly looking for ways to improve technology standards, cloud adoption and architectural maturity.

This is your expertise:

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and/or IBM Cloud — minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Enterprise & Systems Architecture: OOP, OOAD, Middleware, distributed systems, scalability and resiliency.
Cloud Native: Microservices, APIs, distributed architectures and cloud‑native design patterns.
Containers & IaC: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
DevSecOps & Security: CI/CD, SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM and Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
Enterprise Architecture: TOGAF, Zachman or equivalent frameworks.
Risk & Architecture Analysis: Gap Analysis, SWOT analysis, TCO modelling and technology risk assessment.
Cloud Governance: Architecture standards, compliance, data residency, security and cost management.

Nice to have

IBM Cloud, IBM Cloud Pak, Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud or OpenStack.
Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect or TOGAF.
Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Payments or Capital Markets.
Knowledge of Data Science principles.
