Adentis Portugal, with just over 9 years in the Portuguese market, is looking for a software engineer with strong AWS knowledge and microservices experience. You will develop and optimize scalable systems using Java, Python or Golang, and contribute code via GitHub.

Expect to work with data technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, ETL, data modeling) and streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis) while pursuing certifications and continuous professional development. We walk with you!

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience (>3 years).
• Knowledge of AWS with certifications.
• Experience with Java, Python or Golang and a GitHub repository.
• Knowledge of scalable microservice architectures.
• Strong code optimization for scalability and performance.
• Hands-on with RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, ETL, data modeling.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Kinesis, BI and data warehousing is a plus.
• Nice to have data management experience and good communication.

You must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline;
• Several years of professional experience (>3 years);
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), backed up by certifications as well;
• Experience working with programming languages, such as Java, Python or Golang and a GitHub repository;
• Knowledge (better certification) in developing scalable and highly available microservice architectures;
• Very good understanding of code optimization in terms of scalability and performance;
• Hands-On experience with technologies such as RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data Hadoop technologies, distributed systems, ETL tools and data modeling; technologies such as: Kafka, Kinesis, BI, and data warehousing are a plus;
• Experience in data management as needed is desirable;
• Good communication and moderation skills;
