Decskill is seeking a Cloud Architect to define and lead cloud architecture initiatives across multiple platforms and regions. You will design scalable cloud solutions, guide migration strategies, and establish standards for reuse through IaC, patterns, and governance.

This role requires collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and cost-efficient cloud activities.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years designing, migrating and operating production workloads on cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Experience implementing Secure Development Lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM) within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, cloud security, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define and design cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives, security, regulatory requirements, and strategy.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, moving workloads to internal cloud platforms.
• Develop architectural blueprints, cloud design patterns, reference architectures, CI/CD frameworks, and IaC standards for reuse.
• Advise development teams on cloud-native architectures, API strategy, DevOps, AI/ML integration, data analytics, and open-source tech.
• Define, implement, and evolve cloud governance, security standards, SVCS/SDLC controls, and cloud cost management practices.
• Monitor cloud technologies, industry trends, and fintech innovations, promoting best practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, lead PoCs, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and fintech partners.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and architecture issues to keep migration projects on schedule.
• Communicate project progress, risks, recommendations, and architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

We are looking for an Cloud Architect!

Responsabilities:

• Define and design cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives, security, regulatory requirements, and the overall Technology Architecture strategy.
• Support the Cloud Pillar by monitoring the external SaaS portfolio, assessing risk and maturity, and driving the cloud migration roadmap.
• Lead and support cloud migration initiatives, moving workloads to BNP Paribas internal cloud platforms.
• Develop architectural blueprints, cloud design patterns, reference architectures, CI/CD frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards for reuse across projects.
• Advise development teams on cloud-native architectures, API strategy, DevOps practices, AI/ML integration, data analytics, and open-source technologies.
• Define, implement, and evolve cloud governance, security standards, Secure Development Lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST), compliance controls, and cloud cost management practices.
• Monitor cloud technologies, industry trends, and fintech innovations, promoting best practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and fintech partners.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and architecture issues, ensuring migration projects remain on schedule.
• Communicate project progress, risks, recommendations, and architectural decisions to technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of the CIB Cloud Strategy, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, resiliency, and data sovereignty requirements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of architects and developers.
• Participate in cross-functional governance initiatives related to APIs, AI, cloud, and technology strategy.
• Define and monitor service-level objectives (SLOs), operational metrics, and cloud performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and distributed systems design (OOP, OOAD, middleware, scalability, resiliency).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, migrating, and operating production workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Proven experience designing cloud-native applications, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience implementing Secure Development Lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM) within CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Design Patterns and reference architectures.
• Experience with cloud governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of IBM Cloud, including IBM Cloud Pak and Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud.
• Experience with OpenStack.
• Cloud and architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or TOGAF (or equivalent experience).
• Experience within financial services, including banking, fintech, payments, or capital markets.
• Knowledge of Data Science, AI/ML, and modern analytics platforms.
