Celfocus invites you to start a learning‑driven career as a Trainee Business Analyst in Lisbon. You will bridge Business and IT teams on real projects and contribute to solution design within the Asset Management System.

This full‑time trainee program offers hands‑on training, mentoring, and a hybrid work setup, with opportunities to grow into more senior roles while gaining experience with financial data tools and international projects.

Qualificações

• Less than 1 year of IT experience; Celfocus Academy Opportunity.
• Graduate degree in finance-related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and financial data tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Bridge between Business teams/client and IT teams to ensure best solution.
• Understand client requirements and guarantee product functionality per specifications.
• Prepare technical manuals and system configuration documents.

The opportunity

We are looking for a business analyst with programming skills to join the Celfocus Asset Management System product team (Financial Services).

Understand the clients' requirements and guaranteeing the product's functionality according to the specifications, contributing to client´s satisfaction and business's sustainable growth.

Act as a bridge between Business teams/client and IT teams to ensure the best solution.

Support on solution issues during technical design, development, testing, production, and warranty phases.

Ensure the development, design, and implementation of software programs within programming language scoop according to the requirements and project internal stakeholders, contributing to the internal high-quality standards, client´s satisfaction, and business's sustainable growth.

Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents, and other technical reports.

Stay up to date on emerging technologies/industry trends providing insights and advice on new opportunities and applying best practices into daily activities.

What you’ll bring

Less than 1 year of effective experience in IT - This is a Celfocus Academy Opportunity

Eagerness to learn

Graduate degree in finance related discipline (courses with study plans that include capital markets, programming or financial mathematics are desirable).

Knowledge of MS Excel.

Experience working with financial data and software solutions is an advantage, e.g.: Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MorningStar, ICEData.

Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:

Experience with databases (PL/SQL)

Proficiency in Spanish, is desirable.
