Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Casual Bar Porter in Portugal for part-time work. You will prepare garnishes and juices, keep the bar stocked, manage beer kegs and taps, and help with inventory while maintaining cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients: Cut, slice, and peel garnishes and fruits, mix juices, and place prepared supplies in designated containers.
• Keep the bar stocked: Work with the bartender to ensure glassware, ice, produce, condiments and paper products are available.
• Manage beer kegs and taps: Transport, replace and maintain beer kegs and taps for uninterrupted service.
• Assist with inventory management: Retrieve orders, check stock, reconcile with requisitions, re-check on delivery.
• Keep bar and storage areas clean: Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators and storage areas.
• Comply with regulatory standards: Adhere to health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations.

• Keep the bar stocked: Work closely with the bartender to ensure the bar is stocked with essentials like glassware, ice, produce, condiments and paper products

• Manage Beer Kegs & Taps: Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps to ensure uninterrupted service

• Assist with inventory management: Retrieve orders from the storeroom, visually check stock, reconcile with written requisitions, and re-check upon delivery

• Keep bar and storage areas clean: Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas

• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
