COFCO International is seeking an accounting professional to join our Porto team. You will ensure accurate daily bank postings, record journal entries and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support month‑end closing.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, at least two years’ accounting experience, fluent English, and SAP knowledge. Spanish is a plus, and you must be able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance/Economy or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years in accounting.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Responsible for daily monitoring and controlling on the bank posting process;
  • Prepare and record daily bank entries by compiling and analysing bank statement and G/L account information;
  • Collaborate with other teams to get necessary information to proceed with bank postings;
  • Responsible for the execution of the monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Document month end bank evidences and supports;
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide reports based on the bank accounting entries;
  • Continuous improvement processes related to bank postings and bank reconciliations;
  • Perform other reporting duties or ad-hoc tasks as required by the line manager.

Job Purpose

To ensure that all the bank movements are correctly recognized and duly supported in the accounting books.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily monitoring and controlling on the bank posting process;

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Accounting/Finance/Economy or related discipline;
  • At least 2 years of work experience in accounting area;
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferable);
  • SAP experience (preferable);
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities;
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and principles;
