COFCO International Porto is seeking a skilled financial reporting specialist to manage end-to-end IFRS reporting for multiple entities. You will consolidate data for monthly, quarterly and annual closes, collaborate with Group Finance and support automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and speed.

Responsabilidades

• Compile and report financial data for BS and PL accounts for several entities for Group requests.
• Review data before submission to Group Consolidation.
• Liaise with controllers across entities/regions to obtain accurate data promptly.
• Initiate and support automation initiatives to streamline reporting.
• Assist Group Audit with queries on BS/PL accounts within scope.
• Handle other queries from projects and assignments as needed.
• Reconcile loans and interests with financial institutions.
• Ensure correct allocation of bank transactions and Broker accounts.
• Reconcile trading transactions.
• Participate in month-end closing tasks.
• Reconcile and control IFRS16 lease contracts.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and/or annual final period entries, variation analyses, G/L closings, consolidations and preliminary reports.

Job Purpose

• Manage end-to-end financial reporting processes for large foreign legal entities according IFRS;
• Assist corporate queries;
• Responsible for monthly/ quarterly and financial reporting processes;
• Provide information to Global Finance Reporting Team

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compiling and reporting financial data for certain BS and PL accounts for several entities to attend Group requests;
• Review financial data before submission to Group Consolidation;
• Liaise with different controllers from different entities/regions to get requested data accurately and in a timely manner;
• Responsible to initiate and support automation initiatives to streamline the financial reporting requests;
• Support on queries from Group Audit for the BS and PL accounts under scope of analysis;
• Support to other queries from projects and assignments that may be assigned;
• Reconciliation loans, interests with financial institution;
• Control correct allocation of bank transactions and Broker accounts;
• Reconciliation trading transaction;
• Take part of month end closing task;
• Reconcile and control IFRS16 lease contract;
• Monthly, quarterly and/ or annual process of final period entries, variation analysis, G/L closing, consolidation of results and preliminary development of the financial reports.

Requirements

• Academic Degree in Accounting;
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in finance;
