COFCO International in Porto seeks an entry-level Banking Accountant to ensure all bank movements are correctly recognized and supported in the general ledger.

You will monitor daily bank postings, prepare bank entries from statements, perform month-end reconciliations, and collaborate with finance teams on reports. A bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 1 year of accounting experience are required; English is mandatory. SAP familiarity is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economy or related discipline.
• 1 year of work experience in accounting area.
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferable).

Responsabilidades

• Daily monitoring and controlling on the bank posting process.
• Prepare and record daily bank entries by compiling and analyzing bank statement and G/L account information.
• To collaborate with other teams to get the necessary information to proceed with bank postings.
• Responsible for the execution of the monthly bank reconciliations.
• To document month end bank evidences and supports.
• To collaborate with other teams to provide reports based on the bank accounting entries.
• Continuous improvement processes related to bank postings and bank reconciliations.
• Perform other reporting duties or ad-hoc tasks as required by the line manager.

Education and Qualifications:

Experience:
