Job summary

Decskill in Lisbon is looking for a dedicated C++ Developer to join our software team. You will develop, maintain, and improve high-quality C++ components in a Linux environment, using CMake and modern language features to deliver robust solutions.

Collaborating with engineers across disciplines, you will participate in code reviews and help shape development practices that ensure stability, performance, and long-term quality. English communication is essential for our international projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with C++ in professional projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ design, move semantics, and STL.
• Experience writing automated tests (Catch2, Google Test, or Boost.Test).
• Experience developing on Linux and using CMake.
• Ability to work in a Git-based workflow with merge/pull requests.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve software components in C++.
• Design APIs and software architectures.
• Investigate and fix complex issues in an established codebase.
• Refactor legacy code while preserving stability.
