Match Profiler is seeking a skilled C++ Developer for a hybrid role across Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and Viseu. You will work on modern C++ projects, design maintainable components, and contribute to unit tests while collaborating with English-speaking teams.

The position offers a hybrid work model with onboarding support, competitive base salary, meal allowance, health insurance, and annual performance bonuses based on objectives.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing software in C++.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ design, move semantics, const-correctness, and STL usage.
• Experience designing maintainable APIs or system architectures.
• Experience writing automated unit tests with frameworks like Catch2, Google Test, Boost.Test.
• Experience participating in code reviews and Git-based workflows.
• Experience developing and debugging applications on Linux.
• Comfortable using Linux command line and build tools.
• Experience using CMake to build/maintain projects.
• Experience with large or legacy codebases and maintaining stability.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English.

C++ Developer (m/f) - Hybrid (Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Viseu)

What we are looking for

Hard Skills:

• Professional experience developing software in C++.
• Understanding of modern C++ design principles, including resource ownership, move semantics, const-correctness, effective use of the Standard Library, and writing maintainable, testable code.
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable software components, APIs, or system architecture.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit tests using frameworks such as Catch2, Google Test, Boost.Test, or equivalent.
• Experience participating in code reviews and collaborating through Git-based workflows, including merge requests or pull requests.
• Experience developing and debugging applications on Linux.
• Confidence working from the Linux command line and using common development tools.
• Experience using CMake to build and maintain software projects.
• Experience working with large, long-lived, or legacy codebases while maintaining product stability and reliability.
• Comfortable communicating technical concepts in English, both written and verbal.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary: 25.000€ – 42.000€ gross/year (depending on experience)
• Meal allowance: 7,50€/day (meal card)
• Health insurance: included for the employee, with option to extend to family
• Performance bonus: annual, based on individual and company objectives
