Sofico NV is seeking a Functional Tester to join their team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you'll focus on functional testing of the Miles Enterprise Suite and collaborate closely with business consultants and developers.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years in functional testing, proficiency in structured testing, and strong database knowledge, particularly in Oracle and SQL Server. The position offers a competitive salary and flexible work arrangements.

As a Functional Tester, youu2019ll focus on the functional testing of the Miles Enterprise Suite, an all-in-one solution covering front, mid, and back‑office operations, configurable to meet our customersu2019 unique needs. Youu2019ll be responsible for testing newly developed features, customer‑specific configurations, and various patches and releases.

Depending on your experience and interests, your responsibilities can expand to integration testing, interface testing, and more.

Your Main Tasks Will Be:

• Defining test scenarios and test cases by reviewing requirements
• Executing a variety of test scenarios
• Reporting results and taking actions based on outcomes

Youu2019ll join a multidisciplinary teamworking in an agile environment to deliver top‑quality solutions to customers. This role involves close collaboration with business consultants and developers.

Your Skills and Interests

An analytical mindset is key; you should know where to look for specific issues and have a detail‑oriented approach to ensure thorough documentation for your colleagues.

What Weu2019re Looking for in You:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing of software solutions
• Proficiency in structured testing, test techniques, and test methodologies
• Database knowledge, especially in Oracle and SQL Server; PostgreSQL is a plus
• ERP, leasing, or mobility industry knowledge is a bonus (or we bring you up to speed through our extensive onboarding process)
• ISTQB certification
• Fluency in English
