Job summary

Clan is recruiting a Business Controller to join our multinational manufacturing operations in Portugal. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting for the site, partnering with production teams, and delivering variance analysis and monthly reporting.

The position requires a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, strong Excel/BI skills, and fluency in English. You will collaborate with global controllers and drive cost-price updates in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• Experience in financial controlling at a multinational manufacturing company.
• High level of English.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; BI reports.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing accounting processes for the site.
• Act as daily sparring partner for production organization (inventory controllers, value stream managers, planners).
• Analyze manufacturing variances, production settlements and reporting.
• Participate in month-end closing and monthly reporting, variance analysis.
• Monitor stock-take process and drive yearly cost price updates.
• Cooperate with Business Centre, HQ controllers and other production sites.

O que terás de fazer

• Responsible for manufacturing accounting process of the site;
• Daily sparring partner for production organization (inventory controllers, value stream managers, material/production planners, etc.);
• Analysis of manufacturing variances, Production settlement and reporting;
• Participation in month-end closing and preparation of monthly reporting, variance analysis;
• Monitoring of the stock-take process and drive cost price update yearly cycle process;
• Cooperation with Business Centre, HQ controllers and other production sites.
