Qualificações

Hiscox is a specialist insurer whose Finance team supports governance and regulatory obligations across Europe. The company operates in a multinational insurance environment involving Lux GAAP, Solvency II and IFRS reporting frameworks.

Задачи

• Support the preparation and submission of Luxembourg regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist in preparing statutory and regulatory reports for European branches across multiple jurisdictions
• Support filings and declarations for regulatory bodies, tax authorities and supervisory institutions
• Ensure reporting requirements are delivered accurately, on time and in accordance with applicable regulations
• Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and keep reporting processes compliant with evolving requirements
• Support the maintenance of Luxembourg accounting ledgers, including Lux GAAP and Solvency II, reconciliations and control processes
• Assist in preparing and analysing financial information for regulatory and statutory reporting
• Analyse reporting templates, identify information requirements and determine appropriate data sources
• Interpret complex financial information and communicate key insights to stakeholders
• Maintain consistency between internal and external reporting outputs
• Support financial controls and reporting governance frameworks
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation activities related to financial and regulatory reporting
• Assist in documenting reporting processes and supporting process reviews
• Recommend and implement improvements to reporting processes, systems and controls
• Work with stakeholders across the business to improve reporting efficiency and data quality
• Collaborate with Finance teams including Reporting, Controlling, Accounting and FP&A
• Support interactions with regulators, auditors and external service providers
• Maintain clear, transparent and professional communication with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions
• Build effective working relationships within a matrix organisation
• Provide support for month-end reporting activities
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Support ad-hoc analysis, projects and reporting initiatives
• Contribute to Finance and business objectives
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the team

Требования

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly balance sheet and profit & loss reporting under IFRS
• Ability to work effectively across geographical boundaries and international teams
• Experience producing reports for external stakeholders
• Fluent English, minimum C1 level
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
