Job summary

Decskill is growing and seeks a Business Analyst to join our IT consulting team with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. You will formalize requirements, manage Change Requests, and guide IT Developers through the project lifecycle.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, at least 4 years in the financial sector with a Tax focus, strong Tax knowledge, fluent English, and experience with Agile and SQL. Long-term national and international projects offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax or Law.
• Minimum 4 years’ financial industry experience with emphasis on Tax activity.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases (preferably SQL).
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Formalize requirements and manage Change Request cycle.
• Apply BA best practices and contribute to pre-analysis with Business.
• Clarify, analyze and challenge business needs from a critical perspective.
• Formalize functional requirements and have them validated by Business.
• Provide functional guidance to IT Developers and assist in testing.

• Requirement formalization and Change Request cycle.
• Use of BA best practices.
• Contribute to pre analysis with Business.
• Clarify, analyze from a critical and constructive perspective, and challenge the need expressed by the Business.
• Formalize the functional requirements and have it validated by Business.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance to IT Developers.
• Contribute on functional testing activities and assist the Business in conducting user tests.
• Follow the various phases of the projects/release.
• Respect workflows, planning and deadlines and ensure a good level of reporting.
