Decskill, an IT consulting company with over 10 years of experience, invites you to join as a Business Analyst – Electronic FX Trading on a project with a hybrid working model in Porto. You will analyze enhancement requests from FX traders and sales teams, translate them into clear functional specifications, and work with developers to resolve technical issues.

You will run SQL queries, perform Unix/Linux log analysis, and contribute to improving electronic FX trading applications.

Qualificações

• Requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Knowledge of FX trading and electronic trading environments.
• Experience using Unix commands to parse logs.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data investigation.
• Python scripting is a plus for investigation and automation.
• Experience collaborating with developers and business teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage enhancement requests from FX traders and sales teams.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Collaborate closely with developers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Perform technical investigations by analyzing application logs using Unix commands.
• Execute SQL queries to investigate application behavior and support troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electronic FX trading applications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet operational and business needs.

Technical Environment & Skills:

• Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, functional analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Financial Markets: Knowledge of FX trading and electronic trading environments.
• Unix / Linux: Ability to use Unix commands to parse and analyze application logs.
• SQL: Ability to write SQL queries for data investigation and troubleshooting.
• Python: Scripting skills are a plus, particularly for investigation and automation purposes.
• IT Collaboration: Experience working closely with developers and business teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
