TECEZE is seeking a techno-functional Business Analyst to help build a strategic enterprise program centered on a centralized, scalable data lake platform. You will work with stakeholders to translate needs into data products and liaise between business, data engineering, and product teams.

The role emphasizes data analysis, requirements elicitation, and enabling data-driven decision making in Agricultural Commodity Trading. Strong understanding of finance and compliance is valued.

Qualificações

• Must have strong understanding of finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, risk and compliance in trading operations.
• Ability to read and interpret accounting data.
• Hands-on experience with Data Lake/Data Warehouse/report implementation projects.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit, document, and manage business and data requirements; translate needs into data product requirements and user stories.
• Analyze data sources to assess requirement fit and drive insights.
• Collaborate with engineering in defining source-to-target mappings for the data lake.

We are seeking a techno-functional Business Analyst with exposure to Agricultural Commodity Trading companies to help build a strategic enterprise program focused on building a centralized, scalable data lake platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, finding practical ways to use data, and acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and product owners to create high-value data products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Data Requirements

Elicit, document, and manage business and data requirements and translate business needs into:

• Data product requirements
• User stories and acceptance criteria

2. Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze data sources to assess:

• Requirement Fit

3. Data Lake & Product Enablement

Work with engineering teams on defining:

• Source-to-target mappings

4. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business units, data engineers, architects, and governance teams
• Facilitate workshops to identify high-value data use cases and analytics needs
• Align stakeholders on priorities, scope, and expected outcomes

Required Qualifications

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of finance accounting & controlling, treasury, risk, and compliance teams operations in a trading company
• Ability to read and interpret accounting data
• Hands‑on experience in Data Lake/Data Warehouse/report implementation projects
• Basic understanding of software development processes
