ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to inspire our students from Year 7 to Year 13. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes.

You will work within a collaborative, state-of-the-art science department to foster critical thinking and a deep scientific curiosity in our diverse student community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Biology lessons that cater to a wide range of learning needs.
• Support students preparing for external IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma examinations.
• Actively engage with laboratory staff to design and conduct safe, innovative practical experiments.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent international teaching license).
• Proven experience teaching secondary school Biology, ideally within the Cambridge or IB framework.
• Native or near-native fluency in English (the primary language of instruction).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.
