ROLE SUMMARY

King’s College School, Cascais, part of the Inspired Education Group, is a leading international school located on the beautiful Portuguese Riviera. From August 2026, we are seeking a well‑qualified and talented Senior School ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging ICT and Computer Science lessons that inspire students to achieve academic success and develop the digital and problem‑solving skills needed for the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating ICT and Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and active learning.
• Model professionalism through punctuality, high standards of behaviour, and consistent expectations for student work.
• Assess, evaluate, and reflect on teaching practice to ensure continuous improvement.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school‑wide learning initiatives.
• Develop high‑quality learning resources and digital materials.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and community activities as required.
• Set, mark, and provide meaningful feedback on all forms of student assessment.
• Undertake any other reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Head of School or line manager.
