Job summary

1GLOBAL is expanding its international billing team in Lisbon and seeks a skilled developer to drive design, implementation, and maintenance of our billing and mediation services. You will collaborate with product and technology peers to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for global customers.

The role emphasizes API consumption, database integration, and CI/CD practices within an Agile framework, supporting growth across 43 countries and a fast-moving telecom platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with billing in telecom/utilities industries.
• Proven experience with billing systems (Amdocs, CSG, Oracle BRM).
• Experience with mediation systems is a plus (DigitalRoute MediationZone).
• Proficiency with consuming REST APIs; basic software development skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build high-impact features and contribute to architecture design with focus on resiliency, scalability, security and fault tolerance.
• Advocate for high quality, readability and test coverage.
• Work within an Agile methodology.
• Identify areas of improvement and promote them through integrations, documentation and new flows.
• Mentor junior team members and provide meaningful code reviews.
