Job summary

Pleo is seeking a Billing Operations Analyst to join our Finance Team in Portugal. This role focuses on supporting billing processes, an intersection of Billing, Accounting and Automation, and helping drive the future direction of Pleo’s spend management platform.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales and Engineering to deliver improvements. You’ll report to the Senior Billing & Revenue Manager and work with a small, dedicated team to deliver accurate billing, SOPs, and customer-focused

Qualifications

1+ year experience in Finance/Accounting/Operations with IFRS knowledge.
Advanced Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables; SQL knowledge is a nice to have.
Able to work independently to drive workload and identify opportunities.
Experience troubleshooting complex customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
Experience with Billing and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review, approve & process credit note requests.
Review contracts & account setup accuracy when needed.
Answer internal billing questions in a timely & professional manner, including escalations.
Guide GTM & other teams on billing best practices.
Create & maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Process refunds.
Drive internal projects from concept to completion.
Complete Month-End Close activities as required.
