Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Ukrainian & English-speaking Language Specialist to provide over-the-phone and video interpretation for a global language services provider. You will interpret in insurance, legal and medical contexts, ensuring accurate, neutral communication for Ukrainian-speaking customers.

The role is remote from Portugal with company accommodation options for international candidates, and includes paid training, health insurance from day one, and a 12-month contract

Qualifications

C1 level Ukrainian and English (bilingual).
Strong listening, accuracy and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and professional in sensitive situations.
Interpreting or customer support experience is an advantage.
Stable internet connection (cable) if working from home.

Responsibilities

Provide professional interpretation between Ukrainian and English via phone and video.
Interpret in insurance, legal and medical settings.
Convey messages accurately and neutrally.
Handle technical terminology and sensitive conversations with discretion.
Work from home with equipment provided.
