Job summary

CallForTalents is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable/O2C specialist to support the finance team in Porto, Portugal. The role focuses on processing orders, invoicing, cash applications and maintaining accurate customer data in our ERP system on site.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, up to 1 year of experience in AR/O2C, fluent French, advanced English, and strong Excel skills for v-lookups and pivot tables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable, O2C, or Finance operations.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Native-level or fluent French (spoken and written).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
• Customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generate invoices and credit notes ensuring compliance with policies.
• Perform daily cash application of customer payments.
• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up with customers for overdue invoices.
• Assist in resolution of simple customer queries and escalations.
• Assist in reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end closing, and audit requirements.
• Maintain updated customer master data in ERP.
